Orbital has been a very important sponsor of Team 2449 since the inception of our team in 2007. Orbital has provided the team with 5 superb mentors who donate over 600 hours of their time. They have graciously provided the funding for the team used for the entry fees for the regional and national competitions. They also provide paid leave for their mentor employees to attend the competitions. In addition, Orbital has supported future technology leaders by hosting summer interns who are alumni of the FRC program.

Orbital recognizes its involvement in FIRST as an investment in the future and so has positioned itself prominently on the pathway to success for future engineers, Orbital’s future, and more precisely, for Team 2449.
