Robert Stoll

This is my second season in FIRST. Last year, I was involved in the web team, programming, and was a mechanical lackey. This year, I will continue my support for the web site, and hopefully get SOME programming in, but that's another hoping thing. I joined FIRST in the first place to try and combat the glamorous forces of popular culture that are found in hollywood, the music industry, and politics that don't help or hurt society, especially in my high school career. Plus, who wouldn't want to build their own robots and fight with them?!

So far, I have had positive impact from this program. Not only have I forced myself to learn HTML, CSS, and flash (like I always had wanted to yet somehow never gotten around to). I have learned engineering skills, some mechanical and electrical concepts, and made friends with some great people that I would not have if I had not joined.

On top of my work for 2449, I am involved in JMPS's robotics 2 course and FIRST Tech Challenge team 2805.
